About Italian Language
The Italian language boasts a rich history, stemming from Vulgar Latin and evolving alongside the Italian peninsula itself. With over 85 million speakers worldwide, Italian is a major Romance language, sharing similarities with French, Spanish, and Romanian. Interestingly, Italian wasn't the official language of Italy until 2007! Despite this, its cultural significance is undeniable, being the language of opera, Dante's Divine Comedy, and countless works of art and literature. So, learning Italian opens doors to not only a beautiful language but also a world of artistic expression and cultural immersion.
